I'm Rachel, but most of my friends call me Szopa (the S is silent, but I definitely am not.) I'm an illustrator currently working toward a dual master's degree in counseling and art therapy at Adler University in Chicago, Illinois.

I graduated from the University of Missouri (MIZ!) in 2018 and worked in advertising for a short time until I decided to pursue art therapy. I'm excited to use art and creativity to help people.

​

I started selling prints of my designs in June of 2019 and since then my world has completely changed! I love what I do and getting to create for others.

 

I hope to use my prints, platform, and education to make people smile and bring awareness to issues of social justice and 

mental health.

I love:

Making things (whether that's art or food or Spotify playlists), talking about of the many podcasts I listen to, aimlessly wandering art museums, spending as much time outdoors as possible, and exploring new cities. Not gonna lie, I also love spending too much time on the couch watching Netflix.

​

I dont love:

When people say less when they mean few (I have my journalism degree to thank for that one), doing the dishes,

and ... that's about it.
